Back in 1860, three Hartford, Connecticut moms thought that the neighborhood boys roaming the streets should have a safe place to go where they could see what a little positive attitude and good old fashioned TLC can do for a person. This would become the first Boys Clubs of America. Flash ahead to today and you’ll find over 4,000 Boys and Girls Clubs of America stretched out all across the country. Yes, the Girls were added in 1990 and the BGCA has never been stronger. In fact, this organizations currently is providing help to over 4,000,000 kids. What is their mission? “To enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.” That’s pretty terrific and it’s something you can support my converting your iPoll online survey rewards into a donation for this worthy organization.
